What a day (?)

Not gonna say it’s an unlucky Sunday.. Just simple things that make me blame myself.

I went to a church which located in Central Jakarta near the essentials buildings. I tried a new habit of walking to nearest MRT station since last week. I took picture for more walk motivation. I took pictures of buildings that catch my eyes, such as the skyscrapers, and national objects. Today I tried a new route which I thought has bigger sidewalk and less creepy than the route that I previously went through. I snapped some pictures like usual. I walk through the governor’s and president’s office (Balaikota and istana negara) Next to the istana negara is the embassy of the USA. I took a picture of the name of the building. Previously I took the same picture of the other embassies while the security was around, it was okay. Back again the security then called me telling me that it was not ok to take pictures in that area. He told me that there are thousands of cctv watching me there. It’s so embarassing to realized how stupid I was to think that it was ok just to simply take a picture of the building’s board as it was (I thought) harmless. I deleted the pictures as instructed. Turns out it was really hot and I felt not secure around that area. Then I kept walking. I went through a gate then a car was about to pass. I walked behind the car then suddenly the gate hit my head.. It did not hurt, but I let my tears burst out..

If only I could turn back time.. I’d go through the same route. No, I don’t want to pass that route again.
